Your guide to Philly's diverse creative scene, nightlife, music, food & more
The GRAMMYs are still all the buzz in Philly with Philly 360° Creative Ambassadors The Roots taking three GRAMMY Awards and nominations for our other Creative Ambassadors, Carvin and Ivan. Although The Grammy’s are all about the music, we cannot forget the red carpet fashion, especially since Philly’s own designers and stylists dressed some of these stars--and they looked fabulous!
Also, check out everything else Philly was up to in LA, as Philly took the GRAMMYs by storm this year. Click here to watch the video and see the photos of some of your favorite Philly music folks, like The Roots.
Designs from Philly's very own Carmelita Couture showed up on the red carpet three times!
First look: Philly-based GRAMMY nominated producer Ivan Barias, of Carvin and Ivan, walked the carpet with his fiancé Selena Jones who was wearing a Carmelita original.
Second look: Dweezil Zappa's date dazzled in red and pink in a Carmelita dress.
Third look: Samantha Marq , heiress of S.C. Johnson, was spotted rocking a fun shoulder look from Carmelita during the week.

Valentine’s Day has never been one of my favorite holidays. Even now as a happily married woman I can’t say I am truly in love with the occasion—it comes with a few too many expectations and responsibilities. Should I get him a gift or just a card? Should I be romantic or try to play it cool? Decisions, decisions, decisions! But in Philadelphia, you can’t resist the opportunity to celebrate. Whether it is an elegant evening out on the town or a quiet and peaceful one at home with that special someone—the options are endless.
To help you make your Valentine's Day special, I’ve crafted a simple yet perfect way to celebrate cupid’s favorite day.
3 Easy Steps to a Simply Perfect Valentine’s Day in Philadelphia:
Even though this Philadelphia weather has not been ideal for strolling the streets, holding hands with the one you love while walking through Rittenhouse Square is still one of the most romantic things you can do. Remember to take your time and enjoy every moment.

This month the world’s largest traveling fashion show, Ebony Fashion Fair, is making it’s way to Macy’s Center City in honor of Black History Month. This amazing show is known for its display of high fashions for Black America and this fashion extravaganza is something that I do not want to miss!
Ebony Fashion Fair always shows the latest fashions from the world’s best fashion houses. Macy’s and Ebony will be saluting founder and fashion icon Eunice W. Johnson by unlocking her private archives from the decade. In 1945, she started Ebony Magazine with her husband and soon after started Ebony Fashion Fair in 1956. This was to work as a fundraiser for New Orleans Hospital and since then has spent decades traveling the globe to select the most glamorous creations from the world's greatest couturiers and designers and raising more money for scholarships.
The runway show will be on Wednesday, February 9, and the exhibition will go from February 9 - 14. For a fun fashion experience and to see some…
Last week, I was running around the city checking out some of my favorite boutiques, trying on things that I need in my closet, and admiring the winter wonderland wears.
The city is chock-a-block full of winter sales, basement sales (oh yeah, it's going down!), and endless discounts at some of your favorite boutiques. Check out my round-up of where you should be shopping for deals and steals in some of my favorite Philly neighborhoods.
One our favorite men’s lines, Duke & Winston, is gearing up for their expansion (Polos, dog gear, updated branding), so right now they are offering 40% off on all current styles (even items already on sale) while supplies last. These are the cheapest you'll be able to get the gear and with only about 100 tees left, these will go quickly.
Insider tip: Visit the sale site and type in GSTD at checkout for discount

From daring hair-do’s to stunning stilettos, the La Vie En Rose fashion show and cocktail reception was fabulous from head to toe. If you’re under the impression that it was simply another ordinary fashion show—think again. La Vie En Rose brought together some of today’s hottest stylists and designers to deliver a night of fashion-forward glamour.
La Vie En Rose gathered people from all walks of life for a common cause—to address the need to nurture and motivate young African American girls. Sarah Dash of the trio Labelle, The Honorable Dame Jennifer Smith (former Premiere of Bermuda) and noted designer Loris Diran were all fashionably present to show their support for The Evoluer House. In the spirit of giving, Cheryl Ann Wadlington, Executive Director of The Evoluer House, gave out several fun gifts at the close of the show to thank guests for showing their support. It doesn’t get much better than glitz and gifts.
In case you missed this incredible night, Philly 360⁰ is here to provide you with another exclusive experience. Check out the video below for a taste of the La Vie En Rose fashion show.

Having been around for over 100 years, Mitchell & Ness is not only a Philly staple, but it is a sports fan staple. In many cases, it is the only store to offer authentic vintage inspired MLB, NFL, NBA and NHL gear. The store has become a must-stop destination for athletes, musicians…
