We just heard some really good news about one of our favorite summer music festivals - The Roots Picnic. Each year, this festival gets bigger and better, and that's definitely the case for the 5th Annual Roots Picnic. Mark your calendars, because The Roots and company will be taking over Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing for TWO DAYS this year - June 2-3, 2012.

That's two days of non-stop, genre-fusing music with artists hand-picked by The Roots, including our new Philly 360° Ambassador DJ Diamond Kuts. Sign us up!

Insider Tip: Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 16. Get them here! There's an exclusive pre-sale via okayplayer.com beginning Thursday, March 15, from 10am-10pm. Type in "picnic" to get tickets for the Two-Day Pass, June 2 or June 3.
